What does Catalyx Systems do?

Catalyx Systems is a US-based operations and AI consulting firm for owner-led service businesses. We audit how work moves through your business, find the manual work slowing you down, and give you a prioritized plan for what to simplify, automate, or hand to AI.

What is an operations audit?

An operations audit is a structured review of how work actually flows through your business, from first inquiry to finished job. You get a workflow map, a ranked list of improvements, a risk review, and an action roadmap that shows what to fix first and why.

Why is the audit free?

We take on a limited number of free audits each month so more owners can see how we work before they invest in anything. There’s no catch and no obligation to implement afterward.

How long does the audit take?

About an hour of your time over a week. It’s a 30-minute discovery call, a short set of written questions, and a 30-minute findings call, which takes place within 5 business days of discovery.

Who is the audit for?

Owner-led service businesses where the owner is still the bottleneck, such as cleaning, HVAC, landscaping, home services, and agencies. The example on this page is fictional; the audit works for service businesses in any field.

Do you work with businesses outside my area?

Yes. Catalyx Systems works fully remotely with businesses anywhere in the United States. Every call happens by video or phone.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You explain how your business runs in plain language, and we handle the analysis. Every recommendation is written so a non-technical owner can act on it.

Will you recommend AI?

Only where it makes sense. Often a simpler process or a basic automation is the better answer, and sometimes the right call is to leave something as it is.

What does the risk review cover?

For each recommendation, we look at access (who can get into which tools), data (what it touches and where it’s stored), dependencies (reliance on one person, tool, or vendor), and operational controls (whether an automated step can be checked, logged, and switched off). It’s a practical review, not a technical cybersecurity assessment or penetration test, and it doesn’t guarantee security. Where a case needs deeper validation, we recommend a security specialist.

Will you change anything in my business during the audit?

No. Nothing is built, configured, or changed. The audit is analysis and recommendations only.

What happens after the findings call?

You keep the written audit and roadmap. If you want help implementing it, we’ll quote that separately.
